Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, better know as Kaka has been voted the best player of 2007. It really did not come as a surprise to anyone. After his compelling performance in the European champions league last season, very few expected less. I just wonder why the award is only reserved for players in Spain and Italy. Since the award started in 1991, all winners have been picked from only both leagues.
